A mix of original contemporary jazz and standards with one purpose in mind; music to make you smile!

This CD takes its title from the old classic “Smile” written by Charlie Chaplain, which is performed solo on the CD by pianist, Bob Thompson. “We thought people might enjoy some music that is just intended to make you feel good”, said Bob. “We hope this music does make you smile”. In addition to music written by Thompson and compositions by each of the other band members, “Smile” includes a rendition of the original theme from the TV series, “Monk”. There is also a trio version of the old standard, “The Glory of Love”.
